essert was HAMILTON’S PEAR- Poached pear in a raspberry sauce and


cream and a nicer ‘pear’ I have yet to see or indeed taste!


ommodore ‘Scurvy Dog’ Anderson gave the loyal toast as the ship’s


company remained seated. Following a 10 minute interval to EASE SPRINGS , Lieutenant ‘Flog it’ Lester gave us an interesting talk about Nelson and the famous battle, during which the Port was passed ( to the Left) around the table.


After an absolutely wonderful evening of fine food, entertainment and fellowship the President Rear Admiral
