We individually answered the questions and we were pleased with the outcome of the day. We made new friends and learned a lot about different projects and what other support is available.

Then, the other clients and I volunteered to be part of a panel who would be asked questions such as "If you were Prime Minister for a day what would you change and why?" by the staff members from


Overall our time in London was brilliant. We were given opportunities that if not for the support we receive we would never have had. It goes to show that no matter where you are there is always support available for young people.

Client Focus: Paul’s Presentation


Paul has put together a multi media presentation with the help of his Support Worker, Rod Hiller. Here he tells us about his experience.


The presentation will be the main tool I will use in my forthcoming PCP meeting. Staff at Osborne Street have supported me to gain the skills to present the video to my family and friends who I decided to invite to my meeting.


I heard about the Gwalia On Tour event at our house meeting and decided it would be a great opportunity to show


other service users what it is like to live in supported housing.


I was very nervous on the day, but also excited about sharing my life story with so many people including the directors of Gwalia Care & Support.


The event was held in Parc Y Scarlets and staff and clients shared a mini bus to the event in Llanelli. The day was awesome and

I really enjoyed hearing about other people’s life experiences and the buffet was gorgeous!
