Jollydays - Supported Holidays


Josephine, Lynette and Marlene from Old Furnace House have all been on holidays with Jollydays Supported Holidays. The clients were sent a collage picture of their holiday and a CD when they returned home.


They have all thoroughly enjoyed the holidays are so eager to go again that they have arranged to spend Christmas in the Isle of Wight, Turkey and Tinsel. They are already looking forward to it.

Clients at Old Furnace House, Neath, have kindly provided some articles and photos to share their experiences of travelling!


My name is Marlene and I live at Old Furnace House, Melyn Close, Neath. With support from my Key Worker, I booked a holiday last December to go to Bruges Christmas Market with Jollydays Supported Holidays.


I would like everyone to know what a wonderful time I had. The service was great and we had door to door transport. The staff were all friendly and supportive and there were plenty of activities such as horse and carriage ride, a canal boat tour and visits to the chocolate shops. It was all very well organised.


The Hotel was lovely and we had a choice of food, which was great. Jollydays have lots of different countries to choose from and I have booked to go away to the Isle of Wight for Christmas.
