What can CND off er spa guests? CND products are not only premium quality and luxurious, but off er the most advanced and ground- breaking technology, combining high-grade botanicals and minerals with award-winning synergistic oils.

What products have you developed specifi cally for spas? From indulgent shades like Dark Lava to cheery ice cream pastels such as Cake Pop, spa guests can fi nd a CND Shellac colour to suit their mood. Our popular Remove Tube, with miniatures of the award-winning CND SolarOil; a CND Kanga Board nail fi le; a CND Glossing Board for high shine nails; and D.Colour, a miniature polish remover, is perfect for spa guests in need of that on-call DIY manicure service

Describe your latest spa treatments for 2013-14 Spa guests already love the CND Shellac Manicure, combining the ease of polish with the permanence of gels for 14 days of high- shine gloss. Our new Vinylux Weekly Polish and Weekly Top Coat can enhance durability with exposure to natural light – perfect for spa guests, who can now take away their favourite Shellac shade in the form of Vinylux.

What training and support do you off er spa teams? We have a team of spa specialists to support and nurture our spa accounts and are also fostering a team of CND education ambassadors who are highly skilled experts in natural nailcare. Our award-winning education is part of the great lengths we go to to fuel therapists with passion for CND’s products.

How can spas combine your treatments with others? We wouldn’t recommend combining our treatments with others as CND is all about systems and our treatments are done as such. However, our Vinylux polish can be combined into a myriad of treatments and sold on as retail to the consumer, making it a very valuable addition to spas.

What innovative trends do you see emerging? Therapists are now able to tailor their natural nail services to the specifi c needs of their client. This requires a consultative and personalised approach, even for a natural nail manicure. More spas are developing ‘express’ areas and nail treatments are bringing regular clients, looking for a more upbeat vibe, into the spa environment. They also provide spas with an entry-level service that can be performed in an open, dedicated area.
