GELeration Soak-Off Gel is popular with day visitors as it’s instantly dry, so there’s no need to wait around before getting back in the pool.


What products have you developed specifi cally for spas? Our LeRemedi adds an extra element of luxury to manicures. The four-step system cleanses, exfoliates, conditions and brightens skin for an indulgent treatment that delivers visible results. LeRemedi can be added to any manicure, performed as a standalone service or off ered alongside other treatments, such as facials. It also makes a lucrative retail off ering.


Describe your latest spa treatments for 2013-14 To satisfy demand for faster treatments, we have developed Jessica and GELeration Express Manicures and Pedicures. More than just a fi le and paint, these treatments deliver luxury and therapeutic benefi ts in just 30 minutes. We’ve found them to be especially popular on spa day ‘pick and mix’ menus as clients can fi t a wider variety of pampering into their day.


What training and support do you off er spa teams? Our team of more than 20 area managers and educators off er on-going training and support to all Gerrard International customers. As experienced beauty therapists, they support each spa by providing promotions, tailored training workshops and brand representation at special events. With our dedicated in-house customer services team, help is always just a phone call away.


How can spas combine your treatments with others? A LeRemedi hand treatment can be added to any manicure or performed during facials and pedicures while a mask develops. Manicures and pedicures work well alongside each other, as well as with treatments such as facials or Indian head massages. If your spa off ers hen party or bridal packages, nail services are an essential addition.


What innovative trends do you see emerging? Clients are becoming much bolder with their nail styles. Nail art, which was once a niche market, is moving into the mainstream. Crystal manicures and pedicures are going to be huge this summer, so we’re encouraging spas to add a range of options with our Swarovski Elements crystal range.
