“I know the media are talking doom and gloom but I strongly believe there is a market out there for the products which we sell here,” says Will.

“With the stresses and strains in everyday life, people are putting more importance on their free-time and wellness,” adds Will. “Each year we have grown our customer base. 2012 was kind to us and has given us the confi dence for a positive outlook for 2013 and beyond.” Will says the investment in the new business units and showroom, in Hereford, allows Three Counties to have a leaner, smarter and more streamlined business to support its growing customer database in Herefordshire; Worcestershire; Gloucestershire, Powys and Monmouthshire.

Will explains: “The more modern and contemporary building is easier to heat and provides a more conducive atmosphere for the customer.

“The showroom compliments the products which we sell and we have received very positive responses and feedback from our customers both existing and new.”

An expansion of the swimming pool side of the business has resulted in pool builds in both the domestic and commercial market. “We look to retain our pool customers over the life of the pool, offering on-going services such as pool valets, water care products, fi lter media changes, opening and closing of pools,” explains Will. “Business is good considering the time of year and the weather which we have had,” Will reports. “We have had a steady fl ow of leads and footfall through the showroom so things have started well.” Will adds: “Traditionally I would have said our biggest challenge is the internet, but I think now people like to see who they are buying from and want peace of mind in the quality of the product they are buying.

“The weather is always a challenge in this industry – but unfortunately there is nothing anyone can do about that!” Three Counties Pools & Spas Ltd Tel. +44 (0)1432 273636 Email. sales@tubland.co.uk www.tubland.co.uk
