Whether integrated into a chip band for the wrist or into a membership card – every data carrier can be individually designed and branded. The chips, based on RFID technology, cannot be copied by unauthorised individuals, they last up to ten times longer than magnetic cards, they present extremely high reliability and are resistant against the common environmental problems associated with swimming pools. Traditional mechanical locks are a thing of the past. The locker locking system with free locker selection, alarm-monitored burglary protection, night opening function and central administration options is operated conveniently by the access chip. With a system like Gantner’s cash is no longer needed within the resort. The guests can use all the areas and services of the resort entirely without cash and effort, very easily. The access chip serves as a means of payment and the settlement is performed safely and conveniently. All services and offers

can easily be booked onto the chip. Other additional offers, e.g. solariums, massages or the use of a sauna become available via the access chip. Small refreshments at vending machines or products from the shop can be quickly purchased.
CASHLESS ENVIRONMENT The completely cashless environment in
a venue has a positive infl uence on the consumption behaviour of the guests. At any time, the guest can check at the information terminals which services have been used already, together with a detailed cost overview.
The payment is performed either by uploading a certain amount onto the chip account prior to the taking advantage of services and consumption, or when leaving the resort.
