This pool stood out for the careful selection of design materials and tones from the outset. In particular, the use of the traditional local stone both for the pool and the farmhouse restoration.
Pool and spa entrepreneurs, installers, technicians and architects all combated heavy snow to attend February’s International ForumPiscine in Bologna, Italy.
More than 5,500 attendees were attracted to the show by150 exhibitors coming from the main Italian regions as well as from Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Holland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and Hungary. On show were systems, innovations and technologies for construction, maintenance and management of public and private pools.
The ForumPiscine Expo was supported by a separate ForumClub exhibition that hosted manufacturers and distributors of the key ingredients required to run a successful fi tness and wellness venue. Participation was particularly high during the 40 sessions of
the complementary International Congress that stood out for the in depth quality of its presentations, including the celebrity appearance of the world champion footballer, Gianluca Zambrotta,

in a presentation dedicated to the investments in the market of water leisure facilities.
The climax of ForumPiscine coincided with the announcement of the winners of the 2013 Italian Pool Awards, promoted by the spaecialist magazine Piscine Oggi. The 51 competition entries were divided into seven categories, including a new Biopools section.
