The fischer group of companies says it can offer a world first: for the first time, anchor rods with full thread can be set in cylindrical drill holes either with injection resin or with resin cartridges, as known from systems for non-cracked concrete.

at temperatures as low as –15°C, and with the reactive cartridge RSB even as low as –30°C. What is more, the reactive cartridge RSB saves the setter the effort of brushing out the drill hole. With the Superbond system the user is free to choose between the Superbond special resin FIS SB and the reactive cartridge RSB, as the efficiency of injection resin and cartridge is the same in standard applications. Like the Highbond system before, the Superbond system
derives its power from the combination of injection and cartridge system, with the advantages of the injection system and cartridge system supplementing each other perfectly. Naturally, the features common today such as variable anchoring depths of 4×d to 20×d for anchor rods and concrete rebar steel are also integrated, and so are internal thread anchors and reinforcement thread anchors. The new vinylester based system is currently the most efficient resin bonding system with normal anchor rods set in cracked concrete. The bonding substance in the cartridges is also marking-free.

Heinz Soyer says that patented stud welding in a rotating magnetic field (SRM) (patent number: 10 2004 051 389), in combination with the HZ-1 universal weld stud with its flat end face and centring tip (patent number: 10 2006 016 553), presents all kinds of new applications, especially in the field of automated stud welding machines.

he system enables welding of a sheet thickness to stud diameter ratio of 1:10 instead of 1:4 as previously. Furthermore, the method does away with special, costly processing and preparation of studs as regards
conical tips, reduced shank and pressed-in aluminium balls. There is also no further need to use cumbersome and expensive ceramic rings as a welding aid. Aside from the economic advantages, this also brings ecological benefits with it, since no ‘ceramic waste’ is left behind to be disposed of after welding. In comparison to
