Axial eco, as well as TAUREX Axial and TAUREX Axial compact are the latest innovations of
GESIPA. These tools are designed for assembly line productions where high quantities of blind rivets are processed vertically and manually.
The coaxial to the riveting axis placed control elements are finitely turnable. Hence, it is possible to build an
ergonomic workstation that facilitates fast and comfortable working, even at high production rates. All tools are available from size 1 to 4. Due to the increasing demand in modern technologies and challenges arising from mixed building technology
(for instance in CRP utilisation), many connections are placed in limited installation spaces. In that case the Axial kit delivers optimal preconditions to facilitate access to those connections.

DEFREMM SpA has a reputation in cold-forming production. For thirty years it has used a range of metals and alloys to produce increasingly complex parts. The company’s forte is its ability - where volumes allow - to convert a traditionally turned process into a cold-forming process.

ow, thanks to constant improvement in technology and the efforts of DEFREMM’s research and development department, it is increasingly transferring this skill to stainless steel.
In the past three months DEFREMM has come up with a new
product in stainless steel previously only produced by turning technology. Before, the blank used was of a certain diameter with an extremely high percentage of scrap at the end of the turning process. DEFREMM has developed a cold-forming process that makes it possible to use a far smaller diameter and there is zero scrap with evident economic and environmental
benefits. Perhaps, even more importantly, DEFREMM can vastly reduce the duration of the production cycle. What is in it for the customer? First it saves them money. DEFREMM can produce it at a far lower cost and pass this on in terms of a lower price. There is also a more homogeneous end product since the part is deformed without altering the internal structure of the metal. DEFREMM can also guarantee narrow tolerances and a constant level of quality due to the monitoring processes which earned it ISO TS certification.
