Perfect Screw Connections Locking Locking Sealing

Systems for meeting different demands and applications of OT-Precote, 3M Scotch Grip, polyamide- all-around and nylon seals, Loctite, and our special products GESI STR white and red.

Lubricating

Sliding lacquers (anti-friction-coating) as solid lubricants and slide coating made of special, highly lubricating adhesives as pre-coating that reduce friction and wear or cause a specified friction with minimal friction coefficient.

Protecting

Complete and partial coatings, to avoid corrosion and sticking, e.g. welding splatters, deposits of lacquer, etc. Here it is possible to apply polyamides, PTFE and products containing PTFE. Coloured polyamide and polyester coatings as decorative or corrosion protection complete the program.

Plastisols

Plastisol coating, directly used as seal under the head and on washers, for noise and vibration attenuation of fastening elements and for fixing screws and special components as locking measure (pre-assembly).

Measuring and Sorting

We measure and sort for you threaded parts and special parts in tolerance ranges of 5/100 mm depending on the part size.

z y Bonding

Microencapsulated adhesives as pre-coating with systems called OT-Precote, System 3M Scotch Grip and Loctite, according to DIN 267, part 27 or to the requirements of work standards.

Clamping

Polyamide coating as spots or all around the threads in all required colours, as well as the systems GESI Clemm-Loc, VC-3 Vibratite and OT-Precote- Products according to DIN 267, part 28.

Mobile tensile testing machine

The main feature of Zwick’s new testing system is its mobility. The equipment is housed in two containers: the horizontal tensile testing machine in one and the operating station plus the power packs required for operation in the other.

to determine the maximum load of fasteners, chains and steel cables generate high forces and large strains; when the specimen breaks, the torn ends recoil with considerable energy. The operator is remote from the testing machine before the start of the test and initiates the test from the safety of the office container. The office container is approximately 8 metres long and houses the operating panel with measurement and control electronics plus the system electrics and the hydraulic power pack, together with the cooling system for the hydraulic oil. The testing machine container is around 12 metres long and is equipped with a crane winch and an observation camera. The testing machine itself consists of a stiff 4-column load frame of modular construction, arranged horizontally. If required it can be lengthened to accommodate future upgrades or expansion and is equipped with a hydraulic drive with a maximum force of 1,500kN. The hydraulic actuator has a stroke of 1,200mm and a maximum test speed of 300mm/min. The maximum grip separation is 4,000mm. The high-resolution, channel-synchronised measurement

technology allows material characteristic values to be determined very accurately. Range switching is not required as force-signal resolution is available over the entire large measurement range. With Zwick testXpert®

Electric bike battery secured by Camlock

VARTA Microbattery pedelec batteries require a stable construction for leisure and professional use. Which is why the company decided to secure some of its batteries using pushlocks manufactured by Camlock Systems.

ARTA Microbattery GmbH is a European manufacturer of retail and OEM batteries, which are used in a wide range of applications, encompassing automotive, computer, cell phones and medical equipment. Another

business area is the CellPac BIKE service, which produces batteries for pedelecs (electric bikes) fitted with a lightweight battery, using lithium-ion rechargeable cells. The battery compartment for the pedelecs is secured with

Camlock’s 3015 pushlock. The 6 disk tumbler lock provides good security, has a push-to-lock action, a 45º locking movement, with the user-friendly double entry key trapped in the unlocked position. This ensures that the key cannot be lost while the battery compartment is open. A sprung horseshoe clip helps VARTA to achieve fast mounting. Alex Stapleton, product manager at VARTA, says: “When

we first started the project we were looking for a suitable lock from a supplier who could be a helpful and supporting partner. Camlock Systems was able to fulfil these needs.”
