Manufacturing will start in 2015 at the group’s foundry in Bielsko-Biala, Poland, but later on “production will also be extended to take place in China.”

Chun Zu looks for long-term capital


Taiwanese fastener manufacturing machinery specialist Chun Zu Machinery Industry Co successfully registered on to the electric machines stock category of the Taiwan emerging stock market in December.

fastener forming machinery, which it exports to more than 40 countries. 83% of revenue comes from machinery, 8.95% from tooling and 7.91% from service. For the first half of 2012 Chun Zu revenue totalled NT$ 472 million (approx 12.5 million euros). 2011 full year revenue was NT$ 910 million. In order to enhance its market competence and differentiate


itself from other Taiwanese producers and China’s low-price machine strategy, Chun Zu is moving towards more sophisticated and higher additional value products. Short term it plans to strengthen its aftermarket service and establish branches in emerging markets. Longer run it will continue to seek to win European and American business to obtain higher profits. In registering as emerging stock Chun Zu hopes to get long-term capital to strengthen and further expand its business.

The company’s new technology is targeted at solving the problem of surface flaws on fasteners and especially side cracks. The company has adopted eight frequency eddy current technology from Germany to overcome the inability to test hardness and materials using a single frequency. Ching Chang has been developing and manufacturing testing and inspection equipment for 20 years earning it the title of the largest and world-renowned sorting machine manufacturer in Taiwan.
