DURO’s safety spotlight
DURO UK’s main purpose in attending the Show this year is to launch a complete safety range that includes diamond blades and user accessories, as well as a modular point of sale system.
Staff will explain how the blades have strong segment bonds to prevent potentially lethal segment loss, and that they are designed to produce low levels of noise and vibration. Dust suppression tanks are also available that have been developed to reduce the amount of potentially hazardous dust particles created, and to protect the user with facilities such as automatic pressure release valves and

Atlantic Coast’s road to success
Staff from Atlantic Coast Studios are looking forward to meeting hirers at the Show and discussing ways in which they can save them money. The company, which specialises in the production of vinyl decals and labels for machinery and many other applications, recently formed a partnership with William Pollard & Co, a long established printer, enabling it to provide an integrated service covering virtually every aspect of specialist printed material essential to the hire industry. MD Graham Higdon said, “Not only will this new service save time and effort for time pressed companies, they will also be able to benefit from improved branding across their whole range of printed materials.” Atlantic Coast has demonstrated its commitment to the hire industry by sponsoring the magnetic signs produced for the Executive Hire Show’s Craig Donovan to place on his car, so that he can be easily spotted as he travels the country mobilising hirers to attend the exhibition, and by filling his car boot with hundreds of tins of sweets as giveaways. “Exhibiting at the Show is like preparing for a stage performance,” said Graham. “Before the curtain goes up, there is always preparation to be done beforehand which, in some cases, is organised ‘back stage’ many months in advance, so that we can answer all visitors’ questions. From past experience we find the exhibition to be the ideal place to build customer relationships.”
