Latest Higher Concept updates
Higher Concept Software will update hirers on
developments in its Syrinx system, including the latest Syrinx Mobile (PDA access) release, digital signature capture, automated electronic document scanning, customer extranet capability and SyrinxRW for mobile sales personnel to use on tablet devices. The company is also sponsoring the seminars on Cloud Computing and Social Networking that will be taking place on the opening day of the Show at 8am, which are free to attend,
with no need to book beforehand. The sessions are being given by independent specialists. Katy Williams, Higher Concept’s Sales and Marketing Director commented, “We see these seminars as a great opportunity for hirers to get an insight into how these developments could play a part in the way they run their businesses in the future.”
JCB shows off latest mini
JCB’s new 8018 mini excavator in the 1.5 tonne class will be making its Executive Hire Show debut. The 8018 CTS is a conventional tail swing model which, the manufacturer says, has more than 30 improvements over its predecessor, to provide reduced cost of ownership along with greater productivity, safety and comfort. These include a 52% increase in load holding capacity and an 11% greater dig depth. The company will also display a model from its 17-strong line-up of skid steer loaders and compact tracked loaders, which includes both radial and vertical lift variants. Other equipment on the stand will include the HTD5 tracked Dumpster, the 515-40 compact Loadall, and the JCB 8008 micro and 8014 mini excavators, as well as the JCB Vibromax VMT160-80 tandem vibratory roller, forward compaction plates and site equipment such as generators and hand-held tools.
