Move it with Mace
New from Mace Industries is the Lifta, a portable lifting machine designed for handling and moving plaster boards and solar panels up stairways or
onto roofs. It has a load capacity of 100kg and the manufacturer says the unit can be set up in under four minutes. Once erected, the user loads the platform, ties a strap to secure the boards and presses the appropriate directional button to start the lifting operation. A re-designed version of Mace’s popular Shifta conveyor will also be seen publicly for the first time.
New Ammann tandem rollers
Ammann Equipment’s stand display will include two models from a new generation of light tandem rollers, designated the ARX series. These completely re-modelled double vibratory
machines have been specifically designed to compact asphalt and substrates on smaller and medium-sized building sites. The line-up encompasses 13 different models in weight categories from 1.5 to 4.8 tonnes, with working widths from 820 to 1380mm. The machines on the stand will be the 1475kg ARX12 and the 2460kg ARX26, which have respective drum widths of 820mm and 1200mm. The manufacturer says that a new hydraulic system, coupled with the latest Yanmar diesel engines, gives a significant increase in efficiency. It allows the engine to run at a lower speed, effectively reducing fuel consumption and noise emissions. The machines are designed to provide a comfortable working environment for the operator, with low vibration and a clearly laid out operating panel.

GenSet will exhibit a wide variety of its latest generators available for 2013 on its stand, including 3 to 15kVA models and Tier 3 Centurion sets ranging from 15 to 275kVA. Multi-voltage machines with capacities of 10 to 50kVA will be included in the line-up, as well as Mighty Midget 175A and 200A engine driven welders. The company says it is also looking to sign up additional re-sale partners during the exhibition.
