Special Events 28th Annual Road Rally o


Looking for adventure? Grab your neighbors and friends to create a team of six adults per vehicle. You will get a map and bag of clues; you’ll need teamwork, logic and luck to stay on track. Some clues are helpful while others are designed to throw you off course. This exciting and somewhat physically challenging four-hour scavenger hunt on wheels will test your mind, body and teamwork, s

put on your thinking caps and start your engines! At the completion of the rally, teams meet for an awards presentation and socialize at a pizza dinner. This fun-filled event is coordinated with the Bolingbrook, Lisle, Naperville and Woodridge Park Districts. Space is limited. Registration deadline is April 12.

Kids Outdoor Flea Market


Do some spring cleaning and bring your items to the Kids Outdoor Flea Market. Picnic tables for merchandise are assigned and advertising is provided. An adult must accompany child through the entire event. The sale is just for kids’ toys, sports equipment, games and collectibles. Spaces will be available at the new bandshell and under tents.

American Girl Doll Overnight


Children bring their favorite doll for a program of crafts, stories and activities. Then the dolls stay for an ‘overnight party’ filled with their own special fun. On Monday, children pick up their friends and receive a scrapbook of pictures showing all of the fun!

Visit Wandschneider Park for a little bit of the country in the park and view demonstrations on blacksmithing, butter-making, sheep-shearing, heirloom gardening and more. Visit with calves, sheep, chickens and pigs and celebrate the rural heritage of Downers Grove! No registration required.
