Semi-Private Adult or Junior Lessons
Learn the golf game or improve your skills with someone you know. All lessons are conducted in 1-hour increments.
Private Adult or Junior Lessons
Private golf lessons provide a one-on-one atmosphere with one of our certified golf professionals for ½-hour sessions. The analysis of the swing is explained and taught at the student’s level of understanding. Contact the Clubhouse at 630.963.1306 to schedule lessons.
Clubhouse Rentals (Year Round)
The Downers Grove Golf Club offers a park-like setting and a scenic panorama for social gatherings, group meetings or corporate functions. The main room of the clubhouse can accommodate groups from 60 to 80 people. The south room can accommodate up to 30 people. A 20’ x 20’ tent is available to rent for your special event. Beverage service is provided by the Golf Club. A three-hour minimum is required.
Approved recognized organizations and Downers Grove Park District residents receive a 10% discount on hourly rental fees during non-premium hours Monday through Thursday.
Cross Country Skiing
After the Golf Club closes for the season and the snow starts falling, unsupervised cross country skiing is welcomed and allowed on the course with no charge to the participant. The Downers Grove Golf Club is a perfect setting for the cross country skiing enthusiast. As long as there is at least 4 inches of snow on the ground skiers are more than welcome to come to the course during daylight hours. Please stay off the greens.
Women’s Only Golf School
Tom Olms and Jim Festle, our golf professionals, have designed a customized women’s only golf school to focus on different aspects of the game of golf. Whether you are an executive, a recreational or an entry level golfer, our pro’s can help you improve your game in a no-pressure atmosphere. Fees include practice balls, golf tests, swing assessments, club fitting and practice drills.

Women’s Scramble Golf Leagues
Due to the popularity of this ever-growing league, there are four times to choose from with play conducted every other Monday and Tuesday. Registration fee includes greens fees for the league season and one beverage after league play each week. Registration can be made online at
www.dgparks.org, the Golf Club, Lincoln Center and at the Recreation Center beginning March 9. Registration is accepted on a first-come, first- served basis through Friday, May 31.

Annual Bob Nelson Junior Golf Amateur
