Youth Spor ts & Leagues Kids Volleyball Instruction


Get an introduction to the fundamentals of volleyball including bumping, setting and serving with an emphasis on having fun. Kids will learn basic team strategies and skills to improve footwork and coordination. No class February 15.

This fast-paced game gets your kids moving and dodging like never before. Participants learn the rules of dodgeball and the strategies to beat the toughest players, including their parents who will also play on the last day. Learn to dodge, dip, duck and dive.

IGLA Girls Lacrosse League


Be part of a youth lacrosse league exclusively for girls from Chicagoland. The goals of the program are to understand the rules of lacrosse, active teamwork, sportsmanship, and foster personal development in a respectful environment led by positive coaching. Practices are 1.5 hours. Pink levels practice once a week and purple levels practice twice a week. Games are played on Sunday afternoons and locations rotate within your division. April 14 will be the first practice and games will begin the following Sunday, April 21. No practices/games May 24 - 27. IGLA Girls Lacrosse Beginner Clinic


Join IGLA this spring for a weekly 1-hour clinic for the beginning lacrosse player. The goals of this program are to introduce lacrosse and develop basic skills for our youngest players, using fun games and coaching techniques. Practices will be held once a week for 1 hour. Boys Hip Hop!


Stay active this winter/spring and improve your coordination as we challenge you with some dance moves. We will learn two routines, work on freestyle moves and dance to some of the classic line dances. On the last day participants will perform for friends and family to show off new moves. No class January 21 and February 18.

NEW! Winter Lacrosse


Powered by New Wave Lacrosse, the professional coaching staff will start players from ‘square one’ and challenge them each week with new skills and strategy. Included in the fee is a reversible jersey to be worn at all practices and games. Dodging, face-offs, shooting accuracy, defensive checks, skip passes, positional work, and more will be covered in the program. All sessions will end with some form of competition or game.

Athletes of all levels are invited to participate! Players will practice twice during the week and participate in local games on Saturdays. Official teams will be formed for the 8-week session as well as designated coaches for each team. Teams will compete in ‘in-house’ competitions and also against other local Park District teams. Minimal travel of approximately 15 miles may occur for some games. Players will start with the basics and will quickly develop an in-depth knowledge of the game and skills needed to excel. Game jersey is included! Fees include a mid-season tournament in May in St. Charles.
