Equipment&interiors Elegance and durability

Minimalist in design and with the company’s own light- refl ecting BetteGlaze fi nish, German manufacturer Bette has added two new washbasins to its premium steel and enamel bathroom range, BetteOne. With an easy-clean polymer coating, the two new washbasins are the BetteOne Double Washbasin – measuring 140 x 53cm – and the BetteOne Monolith Washbasin. T e steel/enamel manufacturing process is said to be highly durable but much lighter than ceramic, meaning even the large double washbasin can be wall-mounted. T e Monolith Washbasin is a free-standing column washbasin which can be completely freestanding or placed against a wall. It measures 50 x 50 x 90cm. Bette products come with a 30-year craftsman warranty and are available in a range of colours.

Touching the senses

Initially created as a work of art by the Austrian artist sha., the award-winning AlphaSphere concept has entered a number of new notable spa locations, including the Radisson Blu Resort in the Ukraine, the Sofi tel Casablanca and the Hundertwasser-designed Rogner Bad Blumau Spa in Austria.

Based on sha.’s artistic vision to create a complete sensory perception ritual, the AlphaSphere allows spa users to experience specially composed sounds and vibrations on an ergonomic lounger (pictured here installed in a dedicated AlphaSphere relaxation room bathed in blue light).

Designed to gently vibrate, spa guests can recline and enjoy their AlphaSphere relaxation time by experiencing sound as vibrations from head to toe.
