Austria: Software supplier TAC has achieved third place in the ‘Best Product Innovation’ category at the European Health & Spa Awards. TAC’s mobile app allows guests access to a spa’s services at any time from any mobile device, from making reservations to buying vouchers, via its software Reservation Assistant. levels and offers an extensive array of mineral bathing facilities including large, well-equipped indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy pools, as well as a dedicated spa section offering herbal saunas, a crystal steam room, rest and relaxation zones and two treatment rooms for a small menu of body and face treatments. Special events include weekly, silent Bathing by Candlelight sessions. Te spa is designed to accommodate 150 guests at any
given time and can be accessed by the Vitznau-Rigi cog railway from the Lucerne Lake or by the cable car from the lakeside village of Weggis. Te spa can also be accessed directly by hotel guests from the recently refurbished Hotel Rigi Kaltbad.
