54 Uplift and renew with Darphin’s Vitalskin A new paraben-free range from the luxury skincare experts promises to revive the skin’s natural energy
New from Darphin is Vitalskin, a paraben-free range of luxury revitalising skincare products derived from natural origins. Featuring an uplifting Mandarin scent, the Vitalskin range will be available from early September and is primarily aimed at women aged between 20 and 40.
Tere are two products in the range - an Anti-Fatigue Dynamizing Serum that is enriched with extracts of Polynesian Noni, caffeine, and vitamin C, and the Vitalskin Replumping Energie Emulsion Skin which contains anti-oxidant protection. Both have a light, refreshing texture and are said by Darphin to leave the skin “bursting with
vitality, radiant with strength and free from the tell-tale signs of fatigue”.
Each product boasts an aqua-light texture and water-retention properties and also contains a bespoke complex called Enerstim. Tis comprises two botanical extracts from an oriental medicinal fruit called Sapindus Mukorossi and the Laminaria Digitata brown algae. Darphin claims that the complex works on the skin’s natural energy, using a slow release system to help replenish and rejuvenate the skin throughout the day. As part of Vitalskin’s research and

the Vitalskin products and developed a scale to assess the level of skin vitality, in terms of radiance, signs of fatigue and skin recovery. A group of 59 working mothers between the ages of 25 and 45 participated and were asked to apply the serum and emulsion both in the morning and the evening. Te results were collected after both seven days and 28 days of use. Before the study began, 81 per cent of the group said they felt their skin lacked vitality while, after seven days of use, 63 per cent of women felt their skin was ‘full of vitality’ and
this rose to 96 per cent after 28 days.
