lastminute.com via the supplier’s own website or Facebook page, as well as a free scheduling tool and booking microsite, appointment
confi rmations and SMS reminders. T e customer will be able to see the availability of their chosen treatment at spas within their local area at their chosen time and book the treatment online. T e booking data supplied by Wahanda Connect can be updated by the spa owner to avoid double- booking or admin errors. Businesses can also send free text confi rmations/reminders and Wahanda will send the customer an instant email confi rmation. Star quality for new Marilyn Monroe Spas
US: Spa and beauty veterans Niki Bryan and Al Weiss have formed a new company called Niki Bryan Spas International to launch Marilyn Monroe-branded spas, salons, nail boutiques and other concepts around the world, to begin in late 2012. T rough a licensing agreement, Authentic Brands
Group - the intellectual property corporation representing the estate of Marilyn Monroe - has granted Marilyn Monroe Spas, LLC the exclusive rights to operate within the spa, salon, nail, health and wellness categories.

NOLA 7 creates marine thermal suite at GL1
UK: NOLA 7 has revealed its new Marine T ermal Suite at the GL1 leisure centre in Gloucester. Operated by Aspire Sports and Cultural Trust, on behalf of Gloucester City Council, the suite was designed and delivered by wellness experts NOLA 7. T e £125,000 investment includes a salt inhalation marine steamroom with stone mosaics, natural salt and a UV-cleansed hydrospa, with granite surround. T e suite also includes an aroma rock sauna, adventure and contrast showers, hot stone loungers and a relaxation cove complete with rocking chairs. T e communal areas were refreshed with bespoke glass mosaics while specialist fi nishes
from NOLA 7 were included to give an added sense of luxury.

said: “We wanted to refl ect the maritime heritage of Gloucester in the design. Salt therapeutic experiences will enhance the wellbeing off er to the centre’s existing membership and help Aspire to attract new clients.”
