ASI Intros More Compact 2-Phase Supplies
Mechanicsburg, PA — Automation Systems Interconnect Inc. (ASI) has recently upgraded its line of 2-phase input, DIN-rail-mounted power sup- plies. The CSW series is now more compact with a width of only 39mm, saving users a considerable amount of DIN rail space. These power supplies have been
designed to operate using only 2 legs of a 3-phase circuit, thereby saving space, cabling and circuit protection costs. The CSW series has a univer- sal input of 185-550VAC in both sin- gle and 2-phase. This solution pro- vides the same output power as a 3- phase input power supply, but at a lower cost and occupying less space on the DIN rail. High efficiency and low heat dissipation as well as full electronic protection are important performance features. The 24VDC power supplies are
available in 5 and 10 amp. An adjustable version is also available, providing 8 to 7 amp at 12 to 15VDC. A key feature is the user-selec-
table output protection. The user can easily select hiccup or constant
power protection based on the appli- cation. Also, all power supplies have both output overload and short cir- cuit protection and are housed in fully enclosed, touch-safe enclosures.

Nylon Self-Retaining Spacers and Washers from Keystone
Astoria, NY — A new assortment of cost-saving, Nylon spacers and wash- ers designed to grip the outside of a screw shank is now available from Keystone Electronics Corp. These unusual retaining spac-
ers and washers have specially con- figured inside diameters to grip the screw shank. This enables the spac- ers or washers to easily slide onto screws while assuring secured reten- tion with the screw threads. Final assembly costs are
reduced because of the simplified assembly process. The spacers accommodate #4, #6, #8 and #10 size screws in body lengths from 0.125 to 1-in. (3.18 to 25.4mm) in increments of 0.125-in. (3.18mm), while the washers accommodate #2, #4, #6, #8, #10, 0.250 and 0.375-in. (6.35 and 9.53mm) size screws, with thickness of 0.032 or 0.062-in. (0.8 or 1.57mm).
