Inwood, NY — Signal Transformer, a subsidiary of Bel Fuse Inc. has added the MTT (Machine Tool Trans former) “Machine Builder” Series of chassis- mount power isolation transformers to its expanding portfolio of standard and custom power transformers and high frequency magnetics. Offered to meet the highest reli-
ability and performance require- ments of today’s commercial and heavy-duty machine applications, the six-part series’ concentrically constructed platform provides dou- ble-reinforced insulation for volumet- ric efficiency. MTT transformers have leakage of less than 100µA, and double-insulated windings to opti- mize reliability. The transformers are engineered to allow designers and installers to obtain 120, 12, and 24V output voltages from a single transformer powered directly by three-phase, three-wire distribution systems having no neutral leg. Devices with dual primaries
(DMTT) are supplied for applications requiring connections across 208V/ - 240V or 420V/480V three-phase mains, as well as 220 to 240V single- phase feeds. A single primary part for 100 to 120V operation is also available. The transformers are dielectrically tested at 4000V be - tween primary and secondaries. The secondary winding is com- pletely isolated allowing optimiza-

Stringer Attach Adhesives. The con- ductive stringer attach adhesives provide up to a 40 percent price reduction over the company’s stan- dard line while maintaining opti- mized rheology for dispensing, and excellent damp heat resistance and conductivity stability on tin, tin-sil- ver and silver-plated ribbons. The DB-1541-LC series has a
rubber-like flexibility that is suitable for flexible photovoltaic applications with high peel strength to withstand the stresses induced in reel-to-reel manufacturing processes. The DB- 1548-LC series has higher strength and modulus materials where “rub- ber-like” flexibility is not required. Contact: Engineered

are offered for protection. The new transformers are well
suited for a broad range of voltage conversion applications in heavy- duty machinery, and mains isolation in medical equipment. Comprised of 300, 650 or 1,000VA rated parts, the parts are frequently specified to sup- ply 120V for fans, lighting, PLCs (programmable logic controllers) and service receptacles, along with the 12 or 24V commonly needed for relays and controls.
