Bourne, MA — Onset Computer Corporation has introduced the HOBO UX120 Pulse Logger, a highly versatile, 4-channel energy data log- ger that combines the functionality of four separate data loggers into a single compact unit. The new product enables energy
management professionals, from energy auditors to building commis- sioners, to easily track building ener- gy consumption, equipment run- times, and water and gas flow rates. It can simultaneously measure and record pulse signals, events, state changes, and runtimes, and is capa- ble of storing up to 4 million meas- urements, enabling longer deploy- ments with fewer site visits. According to the company, the HOBO UX120 offers energy meas- urement flexibility at a fraction of the cost of current multi-channel pulse logging solutions, and will become a standard toolbox product for energy monitoring applications where fast deployment and a range of energy measurements are needed. For example, while the logger is mon- itoring power use on one channel, it can independently track gas flow on another, and pump runtimes on still another channel. The pulse logger provides a number of features that provide users with greater control over their deployments. For example,
Heilind Bows Amphenol Connectors
for Solar Apps Wilmington, MA — Distributor Heilind Electronics is now stocking Amphenol Industrial’s Helios H4 Panel Connectors for photovoltaic systems. H4 Panel Connectors utilize RADSOK® technology and offer high
current ratings and low contact resistance, resulting in lower power loss. The connectors are compatible with standard industry connectors, including Amphenol’s Helios H4 line, for easy integration. This new connector was devel-
oped to feed power from a solar panel into an inverter or combiner box, and has quick-snap mating for easy panel mount installation and termination to either box. Designed for applications that
use solar inverters, combiner boxes and installers, the H4 Panel Connec - tor can be used with three different wire gauges: 14 AWG rated at 36A; 12 AWG rated at 45A; and 10 AWG rated at 52A. The H4 Panel Connector is RoHS compliant, UV and Ozone resistant, and comes ready for field assembly. The connectors are UL and TUV
dual approved and meet all new NEC 2008 requirements, are long-term UV and ozone resistant and are ready for field assembly; complete cable assemblies available. Contact: Heilind, 58 Jonspin

users can start and stop the logger via software or pushbuttons, and set it so it continues to log/overwrite
data when the memory is full. It also provides diagnostics using on-board LEDs to assure logger operation which aids the installation process, and enables high-speed data offloads using its USB 2.0 interface. The company’s new HOBO
Power loggng system.
Power Logging System, which merges the HOBO UX120 Pulse Logger with its E50B2 Energy and Power Meter, provides a comprehen- sive energy and power monitoring solution. The flexible system can measure and record Power Factor (PF), Reactive Power (VAR), and Watt Hours (Wh) and a variety of other parameters. In addition, it accepts voltage ranges of 90 to
600VAC, current ranges of 5 to 32amps, and can be used for both sin- gle-and three-phase monitoring applications. The pulse logger and power log-
ging system are compatible with the company’s HOBOware® Pro 3.2 soft- ware, which combines powerful graphing and analysis capabilities with a newly-optimized interface for configuring logging options and sen- sors.
