Voted the 2007 Broker of the Year for retail leasing by CAR, Chris Irwin is also a member of the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce and chair of the planning and zoning committee. Most recently, Alderman Tunney appointed Irwin to the committee working with the Chicago Cubs on the development of the Triangle property next to Wrigley, where a proposed Cubs museum is slated to be built. Currently, the vice president, sales for Jameson Commercial has 50- plus commercial listings throughout Chicagoland where he represents the landlord and seller. “The people, impacting the streets around Chicago’s neighborhoods and helping people realize their dream of opening a small business is what keeps me going,” says Irwin. In his free time, he enjoys traveling to music festivals and attending open wheel auto races, but mostly Irwin hangs out with his five-year-old Cooper and seven-year-old Cullen, whose baseball team he is coaching this season.
