In the industry for 20 years, Chris Varco, senior VP - residential lending at Blueleaf Lending, loves this industry because he believes you truly “reap what you sow.” Varco developed his experience with Prism Mortgage Company, where he originated and managed the Chicago location, and subsequently became the regional manager for Royal Bank of Canada. With Blueleaf, Varco just finished the “on boarding” of Coyne Financial on the Northwest side of Chicago, which now operates as Blueleaf Lending’s Coyne Group. “It is an outstanding office with extremely dedicated loan officers,” says Varco of the new branch. Moving forward, Varco aims to continue to grow the company with colleagues that understand the power of its value proposition. “We truly are a boutique lender with the strength of a bank behind it,” he says. “We are constantly looking to expand our portfolio product line to fill the void of loans that do not fit with normal conventional financing.”
