In the last year, 40 percent of Ryland Homes’ sales have been broker co-op, demonstrating the company’s appreciation for working with the many facets of the real estate industry. As for the company’s VP of sales and marketing, Saylor Stam has been an HBAGC SMC president and also HBAGC Sales Executive of the Year. In 1992, Stam went through three interviews with Lexington Homes before entering into the company’s sales training program. Eighteen years later, she’s still in the industry and going strong. Today, Stam uses the training techniques and coaching styles she learned back then to provide new sales professionals with the same strong foundation that she was given. “These techniques are a great resource during good times and tough times,” says Stam. Ryland Homes is currently working on a number of projects, including Talamore in Huntley and Lancaster Falls in Volo. “Our divisional goals this year remain tied to the core belief that to succeed in this business environment one must always provide a quality product, great customer care and develop innovative communities with the support and dedication of our employees,” says Stam.
