As if being the 2010 President of the Chicago Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors wasn’t enough, Deena Zimmerman of Helios Commercial Realty is also on the 2010 nominating committee for CAR, she is the 2010 co-chair for the CAR/MORe Golf Classic and she serves on the 2010 CAR inaugural committee. “I attribute 75 percent of my business to volunteering with WCR, and I believe in the power of a strong relationship with your associations,” she says. Anxious to give back, Zimmerman is involved with Realtors to the Rescue, which helps raise awareness and funds for displaced pets that need homes. Currently, the retail specialist works with both landlords and tenants - nationally and locally - in the leasing and sales of retail spaces and buildings in the city and North Shore. For 2010, her goal is to grow to be the premier go-to commercial brokerage in Chicago. In her free time, Zimmerman enjoys travelling domestically and abroad, as well as camping and hiking with her husband and two dogs.
