When Joe Caltabiano first joined the mortgage industry, his main goal was to create a net- work of business relationships and past clients based on the notion that he would work harder than anyone else in the industry. Through his efforts, Caltabiano was able to climb his way up the top 200 mortgage originator list and currently sits at 19th in the country, funding over $139 million in 2009. In addition to this professional achievement, his heart lies in the work he does for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of seven, Caltabiano battled his way through the disease. As a result, he has vowed to do everything in his power to find a cure within his lifetime. In 2008, Caltabiano was named the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year, and this year he helped his wife Annie win the LLS Woman of the Year, raising $91,000. Professionally, Caltabiano focuses on Jumbo lending and is the preferred lender for several projects, including the exclusive property at Ten East Delaware.
