Senior Commercial Advisor Jameson Real Estate
As senior commercial advisor for Jameson Real Estate, José Colón specializes in investment and development property sales, auctions and retail leasing. He is currently focused on help- ing banks with sales of their commercial assets. A member of the International Council of Shop- ping Centers (ICSC), Colón served as a board of director for CAR and was president of the lo- cal chapter of the National Association of His- panic Real Estate Professionals in 2006. Before joining Jameson, Colón was director of Latin America for Sheldon Good & Company, where he expanded the firm’s reach by opening its first office outside the U.S. in Monterrey, Mexico, pri- marily focusing on real estate auctions. As part of Sheldon Good’s auction division, Colón was able to service clients throughout the U.S., Mex- ico and the Caribbean. Recently, he brought auctions to Jameson, successfully holding the first auction in the company’s history at 1400 N. Lake Shore Drive.
