Ken Crowder started his career in the mortgage industry in 1995 at Midamerica Bank on the advice of a college friend. Within three years, he became the highest producing loan officer there. Not much has changed, as in 2009 he was the highest purchase volume loan officer for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in all of Chicagoland. With well over $1 billion in funded volume throughout his career, Crowder continues to take the market by storm and maintain excellent working relationships with most of the builders and elite Realtors in the area. According to one of the top builders in Chicago, “Ken Crowder sets the bar when it comes to mortgage lending.” In terms of his approach to the job, Crowder aims to make sure that each borrower is well informed and comfortable with the lending process. “I have an amazing staff and company that is there for me all the time,” he says.
