SCOTT GILL
Managing Broker Baird & Warner Winnetka
With Baird & Warner’s Winnetka office continuing to outpace the market and gain market share, a lot of credit goes to its managing broker, Scott Gill. Currently, Gill’s office is at the top of the company in terms of performance to goal – a tremendous achievement in a tough market and one that Gill attributes to his outstanding agents. “We’re restructuring how we do business to make sure our agents and their clients get the best support possible,” says Gill on how he’s standing out among others. “In a world where we serve a much broader community than our Winnetka name suggests, it’s really the only way to build a sustainable and successful office.” With 21 years of commercial and residential experience, as well as graduate degrees in architecture and business, Gill brings a comprehensive outlook to the real estate business. “In the end,” says Gill, “it comes down to an upbeat culture that fosters camaraderie and a modicum of friendly competition, and we have that in spades.” Outside the office, Gill is working on his second book with Kentucky co-author Winfrey Blackburn, “Country Houses of Louisville, 1900-1939.”
