Car Test Audi Q4 e-tron

The flawlessly designed Audi Q4 e-tron is the next milestone in the future of electric Audi cars. Fully electric, expressive and ready for the everyday. The Q4 e-tron makes a statement - its strong and precise lines give it an assured and sophisticated presence. A powerful body with a high front, wide stance and large wheels suggest the strength of an SUV. While the large, enclosed singleframe grille signifies it as an electric Audi.

Testing the top-of-the-range Audi Q4 Sport 40 e-tron we were reacquainted with its luxury, class and surpising power. This model is a more streamlined good looker than the Audis mentioned above with precision styled LEDs and the deep front grille which hallmarks an Audi. A plush and well built interior continues with impeccable upholstery and sports styling, the switches, controls and surfaces are all up to Audi’s familiar high-quality standard. Smooth and very responsive, the Q4 e-tron is the perfect city cruiser. The S line sport suspension has a stiffer spring/damper system which is lowered by 15mm in comparison to the standard suspension and offers more direct contact with the road. The Audi Q4 e-tron is packed with the latest Audi innovations: a first for Audi a new optional head-up display uses augmented reality to project driver information

seemingly onto the road. There is also optional SONOS premium sound system, while standard equipment includes Audi Virtual cockpit; MMI Navigation plus with a 11.6” touch screen and a double-spoke design steering wheel with touch- sensitive operation. Audi states the absence of a transmission ‘tunnel’ along the middle yields considerably more knee and legroom. Even with its compact design, there’s up to 520 litres of luggage space, plus an array of clever stowage compartments that make it the ideal family all-rounder.

For charging at home, a home wall box is recommended. Charge your car overnight and wake up to a full battery. For charging on the go, the Audi e-tron Charging Service makes it simple and easy for plug-in hybrid and fully-electric Audi users to access and pay for their public charging. With just one charge card/ myAudi app, you can access thousands of charging points across the UK and rest of Europe. With 204 PS of power, a 321 mile range and capable of fast charging in 29 minutes no adventure is out of reach in this higly innovative all electric behemoth by Audi. The Audi Q4 e-tron range starts from £43,000 on the road.
