North East Following £75m Investment

Optima@Integra61

Work is also underway on the new Bellway housing development which will deliver 91 new homes at the northern sector of the scheme. The new development, called Clarence Gate, will consist of a mix of three and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached houses over 8 acres, located within 100m of Bowburn village centre.

The residential element at the scheme is being enhanced further by developer Persimmon who is constructing a further 170 homes at the Millbeck Grange scheme where work is well advanced with many homes now occupied.

Integra 61 is one of the North East’s most significant regeneration projects with outline consent in place for over 3 million sq ft of employment space with the potential to create some 4,000 jobs. Already home to Amazon’s 2m sq ft Fulfilment Centre, occupiers can choose design and build packages for units to meet their specific requirements, and this latest speculative phase of development will satisfy those companies looking for space that is already under construction.

David Cullingford, Project Lead for Integra 61 and Citrus, said; “There is a huge amount of activity underway with development taking place on the Connect speculative industrial units as well as the new homes and the addition of KFC to the scheme’s roadside offering. This has been a

pivotal year with the multi-million-pound funding deal and it’s fantastic to see the development taking shape and progressing with the addition of new occupiers and units under construction, creating jobs and helping to drive the economy in the North East.”
