NEWS VIRTUAL GLASS OF WINE

“It’s wonderful to see how this once little series of events has grown, and how much love

people have for it and its casual, informal format.

It’s editing and wine after all… what’s not to love?”

Paul Machliss ACE BFE was in conversation with Alan Miller BFE in an Actual Glass of Wine, recorded at The Old Crown pub in Holborn. Machliss talked about his work on a treasure trove of British comedy and his more recent work in features, including collaborating with director Edgar Wright. “Edgar and I did five years of prep before shooting Baby Driver What we learned on that we applied to Last Night In Soho.”

ROBERTA BONONI BFE VGOW FOUNDER

Ground-breaking BBC series, Serengeti

The Virtual Glass of Wine events are the outcome of BFE governor Roberta Bononi’s desire to help editors feel better connected. Over 70 recorded interviews can be watched on the BFE’s website. Recent conversations feature Maya Daisy Hawke, Brett Morgen, Chris Wyatt and Andy Morrison. Coming up, Paul Rogers, Prehistoric Planet’s Andy Hague and Paul Ketteridge, and Stuart Napier and Imogen Pollard on editing Serengeti.
