wo editors share this year’s top spot in the Commercials 30 poll of the sector’s favourite editors. Ellie Johnson at Tenthree comes

Johnson is behind the cut on our top placed ad this year, Oscar Hudson’s Flip for B&Q, with other notable work including It’s Not Called Getting Old for the Alzheimers Society directed by Academy’s Billy Boyd Cape and Wethe15 for the International Paralympic Committee helmed by Sam Pilling at Pulse. Final Cut’s Joe Guest retains his


place at the top of the editor poll after cutting work including Boots’ Christmas spot, Joy For All, directed by Academy’s Si&Ad as well as the Shelter Brave Face campaign also directed by Si&Ad.


There are two editors sharing third


place in this year’s poll too. First up is The Quarry’s Paul Watts whose recent cuts include Skate Nation Ghana, directed at Love Song by Bafic, Elliot Power, Justyna Obasi. Also in third place this time is Tom


Lindsay at Trim, the editor behind spots including Ian Pons Jewell’s House of Disney for Disney Plus and Somesuch director Kim Gehrig’s The Greatest for Apple. In fifth are three editors - The


Assembly Rooms’ Eve Ashwell who cut Daniel Kleinman’s Asda Christmas spot, Have Your Elf a Merry Christmas; Work’s Rich Orrick who was the editor on Burberry’s latest Magaforce Riff Raff spot, Night Creatures and Leo King at Stitch who cut BT’s Hope United for Matilda Finn at Stink Films.

lectric Theatre Collective’s Luke Morrison moves into the number one spot this


year for the first time in our poll of commercial producers’ favourite colourists. Morrison takes the top spot


after supplying the grade on ads including this year’s joint highest rated ad in the Commercials 30, Flip for B&Q, directed by Pulse Films’ Oscar Hudson. Other notable recent grades for Morrison include Sam Brown at Rogue’s Bring the Wave for White Claw; the Argos Christmas spot, Avalanche, directed by Gary Freedman at MJZ, O2’s Snowgran by Blinkink’s Joseph Mann and Virgin Atlantic’s See the World Differently from Biscuit Filmworks’ Ben Strebel. In at second place in this year’s

In at third this time is Company

Soret has been behind the grade on commercials including Juan Cabral of MJZ’s For All Life’s Moments for John Lewis and Guy Ritchie’s Tank for Cartier featuring Catherine Deneuve and Remi Malek. Long form work for Soret includes Disney’s Andor, Troll and Becoming Elizabeth.
