Best Ride - Limited Budget Emaille-Werke at Karls Erlebnis-Dorf
Supplied by Technical Park and faszinatour
Fabio Martini, CEO of Technical Park speaks to Park World said: “It’s always great to see positive results from our attempts to make great theme parks rides. Behind the scenes, there’s a really a big commitment to making it happen, trying first to exceed the best expectations of our clients.
“This award means we are moving our steps in the right direction, because it comes just after our PWEA win last year for ‘Thrill ride of the Year’.
Regardless of what they are going to
do, like driving in a Sidecar or flying on an Aerobat, riders need fun and we wish to create great guest experiences for them, time and time again. My brother Christian and I want to dedicate this award to the memory of the company founder, our father Renzo, who died just a week before this achievement. Commenting on why he thinks the judges chose Emaille-Werke, Fabio said:
“We think because of two reasons: perfect theming match for the area and equipments, high interactivity level, intense old school “open-air” kind of fun. “I believe people will be very tired of digital entertainment once this pandemic is over, and the Emaille-Werke area is a
perfect concept to satisfy this need. “About theme customisation: there’s an interesting detail regarding the van design, this is a “clone” of a very old original vehicle really used for Karls’ deliveries and still in the park. Special customisation requests coming from theme parks are always very welcome here at Technical Park.
PW: Will you be taking part again next year?
FM: Many parks postponed projects and delays may impact the possible nominations, but we are fighting the time by building interesting demo prototypes. in advance.

Two new rides will be available with a very short lead time at the beginning or during the 2021 season, hopefully we will compete wishing to win the third award in a row with one of them. The first is a tower with riders sailing in the air and called Flying Dutchman, the second is a patent pending exclusive ride to be unveiled soon but still secret…
.....stay tuned!
