How do you keep guests engaged, while gates are shut? 90km/h. The channel also has walk-throughs of the
colouring in pages for our guests to print at home that will both keep them engaged with our brand and keep our brand front of mind.
• Use honesty to create impactful social content – Our park has wildlife that needs care even in a lock-down situation, so we’re telling and showing our guests how we’re continuing to do this.
• Find aspects of your business to make virtual –We have set up live stream filming of some of our wildlife so that guests can watch them from home and keep having “Dreamworld” experiences.
• Bring your product or service into the homes of your guests – Our SkyPoint business is working on how-to videos for menu items and cocktails that guests can create at home.

Gardaland, an entirely themed water park for families. Unfortunately, the sanitary emergency caused the interruption of the works at the building site and we had to postpone the inauguration of this important new attraction to 2021. It will be the first LEGOLAND® Water Park in Europe and the first in the world inside a theme Park not LEGOLAND branded. With an estimated investment sum of 20 million euros, LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland will cover an area of 15,000 square metres to the joy of countless young families, both Italian and from abroad. We are of course very proud of this new opening, especially because the LEGO brand is renowned globally and will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening Gardaland Resort’s position as a major European tourist destination, as well as confirming it as a top player for family entertainment”.
WhiteWaterWorld, SkyPoint: Adapt your brand presence to the environment –We have created

platforms and online channels to support its membership with education, professional development, discussion and networking. The program will support online discussion threads, webinars, watch parties, virtual mixers and more – including an online job fair.
We’ll be introducing Awilda’s World to our guests next year. Also, we are working on the theming within the entrance area to the park, introducing 15 new house facades, all crafted to the highest quality which will add immensely to the hanseatic flair of the park. We are convinced that our investments will not only contribute to the park in general but also meet a high demand for spending recreational time in a safe place which values quality time for friends and families. We are also convinced that visitors will after the sacrifices that we all had to make during the pandemic situation appreciate the perfect mix of thrill, flair and great theming even the more.

In 2021 we have a lot to look forward to. This year we expect Vietnam to (gradually) open up to foreign tourists, so we are hard at work to create new experiences. In Sun World Ba Na Hills two new outdoor rides are being build and opening in Q1, in addition to two large indoor ones which will open in Q2. In Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park, two tower rides are currently under construction in addition to a spectacular new coaster. Building new rides in this current environment is challenging for sure. However, our industry is like an aeroplane, it takes off against the wind, not with it. Together we can push to innovate and deliver happiness when people need it most.“

Smurfs theme park re-opens in China After a long period of closure, Smurfs theme park ‘Dream City’ in China has opened its doors again for the public. One of the main attractions is Lagotronics Project’s recently installed GameChanger dark ride, ‘Swamp Adventure’,
which is completely themed in Smurfs style.
At Puy du Fou in France, highlights of the 2021 season include 176 Grand Park opening days and 31 performances of the nighttime extravaganza, La Cinéscénie. Also, in celebration of the 400th birthday of Jean de La Fontaine, Puy du Fou has enhanced its ‘Le Monde Imaginaire de la Fontaine’ outdoor attraction which features many of the poet’s best-loved fables, complete with spectacular special effects.
In addition, this spring we will launch our very own amusement park boardgame, featuring a range of fun tasks that will challenge their intellect. This game will enable our guests to enjoy Linnanmäki Amusement Park while at home.

As per tradition, every year Mirabilandia presents its public with a completely renewed programme of shows. We are already working on the programming for 2021 to give adults and children new experiences. Animation shows in the theatre and in the squares will be, as always, of the highest level.
