Created with the help of SDEI, Europe Technologies, Solideo, AMPM and Crystal Group, Les Noces de Feu, the stand- out show at Puy du Fou, was awarded Best Use of Technologies and Best Live Entertainment. The accolades didn’t stop there – the historical theme park in France emerged victorious a third time, alongside 6k and Grumpy Productions in Best Use of Theming for Théâtre Molière and Grand Siècle.
Park World speaks to CEO Guillaume Gallaire
PW: What did it mean to you to win these awards? GG: It is a great honour for Puy du Fou to receive these Park World Excellence Awards. This international recognition represents a tremendous achievement for all our team members and partners involved in this new creation. But actually, for us, the most important word
isn’t “Award” but “Excellence”. This value is part of our DNA and of our philosophy from the beginning of our history. Our teams always work in order to reach excellence. It is a reality for our live shows but also in every details of Puy du Fou experience. And it was a special challenge this year with the sanitary crisis, but we succeed to keep the highest standard of quality in everything. That’s why we are very proud of these awards.
PW: Why do you think the judges chose Puy du Fou? GG: Puy du Fou is a new model of park, very unique in the world of the theme parks. We always try to imagine new concepts with new technologies. We want to surprise and touch the heart of the spectator. Our way of thinking allows us to imagine our shows without any limits. We are like children wanting to
make their dreams become a reality. We think that the judges keep their soul of children and that they want to award the originality and the creativity of Puy du Fou.
PW: Will you be taking part again next year? GG: After a challenging year in 2020 for all of us, we truly believe that our guests will look for authentic ways to dream and share vibrant experiences together. In that prospect, 2021 will be an exceptional year for Puy du Fou with the ground-breaking of our park Puy du Fou Espana, in Toledo. Once again, we will aim at mesmerising our visitors hearts and souls with these new creations. So, we’ll be very happy and proud to
take part to the Park World Exellence Awards next year.
