he Ramayana Water Park, located in Pattaya Thailand, has announced that it is planning to invest in preparation for growth in the tourism sector. Currently, the park is celebrating its second year in


operation, and sales director Johannes Pattermann commented; “The Ramayana Water Park was opened in 2016 with an investment of Bt1.5 billion on a 106-rai area surrounded by the beautiful nature of Khao Chee Chan and Silver Lake Winery. We are able to serve


7,500 tourists per day and we have been selected by TripAdvisor as the largest and best water park in Thailand, the third in Asia and the 19th in the world.” Ramayana Waterpark is the largest park in Southeast


Asia, and was designed by Hassell Architects with WhiteWater West and Pentair acting as suppliers. Inside the park is a dedicated kids zone, double wave pool, lazy river, caves, water features, spa pools, and relaxation pools.


Six Flags Great America unveils Mardi Gras Hangover


Six Flags Great America, Gurnee, Illinois, has introduced Mardi Gras Hangover, the world’s largest loop ride. The 100 foot tall Giant Loop from Larson International shoots back and forth on a huge looping track which treats guests to the experience of weightlessness and upside-down hang time. Suspended, guests go through a series of 360° revolutions before reeling down in the opposite direction on this powered coaster-like ride. “Innovation is in our DNA at Six Flags and we are recognized throughout


the world for our unparalleled collection of groundbreaking rides and attractions,” said park president, Hank Salemi. “This is a high adrenaline coaster and guests will be eager to ride it again and again to experience the incredible hang-time. We are excited to welcome the world’s largest loop coaster to Six Flags Great America’s already impressive coaster lineup.”
