Amusement Logic creates waterpark for Mauritius mall
Amusement Logic has confirmed that it is creating a waterpark with a large themed splash pad and slides for Cascavelle Shopping Village, in Mauritius. The new additions are part of Cascavelle Shopping
Village’s plans to remodel and move forward with an initiative to offer families a day out with a difference. The shopping mall sector is currently one of the most competitive and transformative, and the large number of centres that have been developed and the change in consumer trends (internet sales have increased exponentially), mean that shopping centres have to come up with ideas and implement new strategies to attract visitors. The patented funnel shape flushes riders up the Tornado walls, oscillates each tube multiple times and generates the suspended- weightlessness sensation that is unique to the ProSlide funnel rides. After dropping into the funnel, riders are swept up the wall to the equator line, which is actually perpendicular to the ground and creates the illusion of going over the edge. Two gigantic Pipeline serpentine slides, named
Quassy Rapids and Serpent, round out the three- ride attraction. The new slides all depart from one platform and conclude in runoff troughs near Saturation Station, a modular water play area.
Move It-32 gets a bumper upgrade
It’s been 22 years since the Movie It-32 ride was built and made its debut at the fair in Best, Netherlands, in 1996, and now Dutch manufacturing company KMG has announced that the Move It-32 is set to get an upgrade. The ride’s action will remain the same – only enhanced by the
All change at Dreamworld
Australia’s favourite Trolls are coming to the Trolls Village precinct this winter at Dreamworld, created in partnership with DreamWorks Animation. The attraction is set to be a world first when it opens in the latter half of the year, focusing on family fun with an interactive twist as well as celebrating The Trolls’ history from the creation of the first dolls in 1959. Dreamworld has faced a number of challenges following the incident in 2016 when four ride-
goers lost their lives at the park. Craig Davidson, who was chief executive at the time of the accident, has stepped down and an international search for a replacement is now underway.

latest industry techniques. The new model is more efficient, boasting a lighter weight, easier
set up, and a lower consumption of power. Additionally, modern drive units, electric motors, safety systems and new construction all meet the latest safety rules of EN13814 and TüV guidelines, and the Move It-32 will be environmentally friendly, using hydraulic systems in place of electric ones as much as possible. The Move It-32 moves on 3 (legal) semi-trailers and can be set

In recent years shopping malls have been complimented with FECs, indoor waterparks, adventure parks, indoor amusement parks, indoor ski parks, and more, and Amusement Logic is actively participating in this type of leisure development in Mauritius.
