Fatta Thapa
3PM I head a Senior Leadership Team or Key Players meeting, depending on the day. Communication is key; I spend time with my teams across both franchise offi ces. Everyone has a voice and feels valued and Sonia and I are proud to be a consistent presence within the business.
4PM Out again to spend time with our local referral partnership network. This could be a visit to another care service provider, care home or medical team.
6PM I head home to spend time with the family – Sonia, son Jay, daughters, Belle and Ruby – plus our two dogs and cat. I’ll unwind by walking the dogs and three
times a week playing squash, badminton or tennis to maintain my fi tness.
OUT OF HOURS
I volunteer every Sunday at the Companionship Café we created in 2013 that offers somewhere for older people to meet, make new friends and feel part of the local community – it provides a space where they always feel welcome and safe. Often our Care Pros bring clients to
the café for a meal or to socialise and perhaps play a board game. It’s great to see those relationships in action at the café and I love the value it brings to our local community. The café really is a lovely place to be.
