Glyn Williams joins Harding Retail as Senior VP for APAC Harding Retail has appointed Glyn Williams as Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific covering the Australian and Asian division of the company. Williams will join a 55-strong team in


Sydney and the United Kingdom and will be responsible for advancing Harding Retail’s proposition, driving growth and innovation within the Australian and Asia market. He left his role as General Manager at


Sydney Airport (SYD) in January, having joined the airport in 2014. During his time at SYD, he played a key


role in securing its duty free contract with Heinemann Asia Pacific, revamping the retail offer, creating a Terminal 1 luxury precinct and launching a number of firsts to the airport and Australia. Williams said: “Having kept a close eye


on Harding Retail’s way of working – their thirst to push retail boundaries and deliver amazing shopping experiences – the move is a natural one. Thriving on delivering ‘firsts’, I’m looking forward to getting settled in Sydney and making a tangible difference within Harding.”


APTRA appoints new Board and Grant Fleming as President Lagardère Travel Retail Head of Strategic Development, Asia, Grant Fleming has been elected as the new President of the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA). The appointment was confirmed at an


election following an AGM that took place on Wednesday 15 May during the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference. A new 12-strong Board was also selected. Fleming takes the reins from Andrew

Cabeau promotes Lital Guedalia to GTR Sales Director Lital Guedalia is the new Global Travel Retail Sales Director at travel accessories firm Cabeau. Guedalia, who has


10 years’ industry experience on the supplier and retailer side, joined Cabeau two years ago to manage the company’s Americas travel retail business. She brings extensive experience to the


role, having worked across the DF&TR travel and luxury fragrance categories for companies such as Parfums Christian Dior, Duty Free Americas and Layam Sakal. “I am delighted to lead Cabeau into a new


and exciting growth phase within global travel retail,” said Guedalia. “Cabeau has enjoyed great success in the


Americas and I am excited to bring that same success to the Asia Pacific and beyond.”
