EH Boutique Experience EL CALAFATE, ARGENTINA

EH Boutique Experience was conceived as a refuge for those seeking something more considered — an intimate, design-led stay rooted in calm, comfort and quiet transformation. Here, luxury is expressed not through excess, but through restraint. Set on a quiet street in El Calafate, just steps from

the centre and a short drive from Los Glaciares National Park, the hotel strikes a careful balance between proximity and stillness. Connected to the surrounding landscape yet immersed in local culture, each space reflects a contemporary vision of Argentine design, with carefully selected pieces from national makers. The result is a retreat that invites guests to experience Patagonia with both sensitivity and style. Architecture plays a central role. Inspired by

natural light, silence and materiality, EH’s design encourages a slower pace from the outset. With just seven suites, each individually styled with private terraces and generous proportions, the hotel creates a sense of space that feels both personal and expansive. A yoga wall in every suite allows guests to integrate movement and breath into the day,

while spa-style bathrooms and a tranquil courtyard offer moments of stillness and reflection. Behind the design is a more human layer

of hospitality. From the moment a booking is confirmed, a dedicated concierge begins shaping each stay. Guests might set out on private glacier treks, horse-ride across open steppe or spend slow mornings fly-fishing on remote lakes, with each experience curated to go beyond the expected. Back at the hotel, the attention to detail

continues. A boutique shop showcases Argentine fashion, accessories and homeware, alongside the EH Matriz furniture collection designed by architect Viviana Melamed. Mornings begin with a breakfast worth lingering over, featuring speciality coffee, locally inspired dishes and a signature tea blend that captures the flavours of the region. Evenings are more relaxed, with Patagonian wine and local cheeses waiting on return. For those who prefer complete privacy, a

seamless in-suite digital system offers everything from self check-in to yoga classes and room service, all accessible via tablet.

DON’T MISS Book a private glacier trek through Los Glaciares National Park for a more intimate way to experience Patagonia
