Case study
Arella, reception manager
“Hard
work, loyalty and dedication are highly rewarded”
Breach, who graduated the same year is now working in People & Culture as a talent development officer, responsible for the learners in the business, including the new degree apprentices. Our non-graduate programme has seen Petra
Nyitrai, who started with us directly from school, completing Level 2 in Food & Beverage service while working full time, and is soon to embark on Level 3 in a Women in Leadership apprenticeship, demonstrating that our apprenticeships offer you both work knowledge and personal development. Everett Chambers also started on our non- graduate programme and is now F&B Manager at the Montague on the Gardens Hotel. Hard work, loyalty and dedication are highly
rewarded and each hotel hosts monthly tea parties for every team, where we champion our employees of the month and managers of the quarter. We listen closely to our employees and offer an unbeatable support system. Each

team features a mental health champion, trained to help those that might be struggling in the workplace. We also offer wellbeing training sessions that focus on health, lifestyle and mindfulness, with an Employee Assistance Programme available from day one. We are also passionate in promoting equity and diversity. IDEA is a company-wide initiative that stands for Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, Action, where groups, including those based on Pride, women and neurodiversity, meet regularly to discuss challenges in the workplace and bring forward actionable change.
“I started my journey with Red Carnation Hotels in 2019 as a degree
apprentice, joining the front office team of its flagship hotel, the Milestone Hotel & Residences. In the short time that I was there, I fell in love with the hotel and the industry itself. “Over my three years as an apprentice,
I was able to experience many different aspects of the hotel, including housekeeping, front office, guest services and food and beverage. My love for front office grew and after my graduation I became the guest services manager at the Milestone. I have recently been promoted to reception manager and I am facing new and exciting challenges every day. “There is no more rewarding feeling than making guests’ experiences even more special, and Red Carnation Hotels continues to support my personal and professional development.”
