Rowan has been at Coworth Park since it opened in 2010 – he was part of the team that opened the hotel. Rowan’s journey in hospitality began by gaining his BTEC in hospitality management at Plymouth College before undertaking various management roles at the Falcon Hotel in Cornwall, and at Hotel du Vin and Malmaison hotels, eventually rising to deputy general manager. Rowan is passionate about developing his team at Coworth Park. “Coaching the team to work together
doesn’t necessarily come from experience,” he says. “It’s all about having a good attitude and appetite for learning. Creating the right environment to support and motivate our team members allows them to learn and grow, as does honest and regular feedback.” You will often find Rowan mentoring
