Jo McQuade Travel manager, Npower Jo McQuade is group travel manager for the UK at Npower and joined the energy company in 2006. She is responsible for operational, stakeholder and contract management, OBT, payment solutions and continuous improvement, with an overarching focus on travel behaviour, customer service, efficiency and security. She is a regular contributor to Buying Busi- ness Travel, and experienced panel speaker, where she speaks on topics ranging from digitalisation to compliance.


Michael McSperrin Global head of facilities and support services, Alexander Mann Solutions Michael is the global head of facilities and support services at Alexander Mann Solutions. He was shortlisted for the Travel Buyer of the Year award at the Business Travel Awards 2019, he also sits on the ad- visory board for the Business Travel Show.


Alan Ryan Travel manager, BAE Systems Alan has a wealth of travel and procure- ment expertise and is currently working at BAE Systems in travel and procurement. Prior to that he was with SITA Aero as travel manager – EMEA, establishing a global travel programme through a series of projects surrounding process, consoli- dation, security and savings. Prior to that, Alan worked at BP for 20 years looking after procurement categories before moving into travel management in 2002.


Susan Savy Global travel procurement manager, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Susan leads the global strategy and man- agement of the airline and ground trans- portation partnerships at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Appointed as global strategic category manager in 2015, she consoli- dated the travel programme, increased adoption and significantly reduced cost by operationalising key policies aligned with company strategy and transformation. Previously she was responsible for the global hotel programme. Susan started

her career in the airline IT sector as a commercial manager, having studied business and finance in Stockholm.


Martin Stevens Senior manager, global procurement, RELX Martin is a senior manager at RELX a global provider of information-based an- alytics and decisions tools for professional and business customers. RELX operates in more than 180 countries and employs around 30,000 people, with almost 50 per cent based in North America. Situated in its global procurement depart- ment, his predominant focus is corporate travel and financial services. Martin was part of the RELX team that won the Procurement Leaders, Best Procurement Team in 2011.


Kevin Swindells Senior procurement manager, Royal Mail


Winner of the 2017 Travel Buyer of the Year award, Kevin has a 30-year record of helping businesses shape, lead and deliver change. He has been with Royal Mail Group for nine years, delivering sig- nificant change programmes in multiple


business areas. When given the responsibility


for travel in 2014, Kevin’s main objective was to reduce the cost of travel in a mature


programme, without impacting the quality of service for employees. He succeeded by building closer partner- ship relationships with the supply chain and change traveller behaviour.


Neil Woodliffe Regional travel and expense manager, EMEA and APAC, Clarivate Analytics Neil is the travel and expense manager for EMEA and APAC at Clarivate Analytics, working in a small travel and expense team that works cross-function across travel and expense and all regions that Clarivate Analytics operate out of. Coming from a corporate travel background of sales and account management, Neil applies his experience to developing and maintaining a sustainable global corporate travel programme. Clarivate Analytics owns and operates a collection of subscription-based services, including scientific and academic research, patent analytics, regulatory standards, trade- mark protection, pharmaceutical and biotechnology intelligence, domain brand protection and intellectual property.
