SMTA International Keynote Presents F-35 HMD


Eden Prairie, MN — SMTA Inter - national 2018 is presenting a dual keynote in which engineers from Rockwell Collins and Lockheed Martin will discuss the design, devel- opment and pilot’s perspective of the helmet mounted display (HMD) sys- tem for the F-35 fighter jet. SMTA International is scheduled to be held October 14 to 18 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.


The F-35 Lightning II is a fifth-


generation fighter, combining ad - vanced stealth with fighter speed and agility. Fully fused sensor infor- mation is displayed to the pilot through the HMD for network opera- tions.
