Concurrent Technologies Introduces VME Processor Boards
Woburn, MA —Concurrent Technologies has intro- duced two new VME boards for long lifecycle deployments that are expected to remain in the market beyond 2030. The VP B7x/msd is based on an eight-generation Intel® Xeon® processor for applications that need high compute or virtualiza- tion capability. The VP F6x/msd is optimized to maximize I/O capability and is suitable for applica- tions that must boot legacy operating systems. Air- cooled products are available for evaluation and rugged conduction-cooled versions are scheduled, pending the conclusion of environmental qualifica- tion testing. The VP B7x/msd is based on a six-core E-
2176M Intel Xeon processor E-2176M (formerly known as Coffee Lake) and up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory. VP F6x/msd is fitted with a four-core E3-1505L v6 Intel Xeon processor and includes dual PMC/ XMC sites, along with an option for two additional PMC modules using a carrier card in a dual-slot configura- tion. Both boards have a site for a SATA-based flash drive up to 128 GB, an M.2 site for up to 1 TB of high-speed PCIe NVMe storage and
